Each summer, Summer at Stanley offers The Stanley Scholars program to students of economically and socially diverse backgrounds. This educational and joyful program reflects Stanley’s British Primary philosophy – emphasizing multi-age collaborative play, hands-on learning and social-emotional development. The Stanley Scholars program is an enriching and fun summer camp experience led by Stanley teachers Catalina Rincon and Carlos Rincon. Every camper’s experience includes swim lessons as well as breakfast and lunch.
Summer Scholars is available to children entering first, second or third grade. To qualify, a child must receive free or reduced lunch through the Colorado Department of Education.
Please complete an application and submit this application after February 1. Priority is given to children who have successfully participated in Stanley Scholars in the past based on the order in which the application was received. Additional spots are offered on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Summer Scholars is funded by Stanley BPS and through the generous support of individuals and organizations who support our commitment to share our British Primary philosophy and programming with the broader Denver metro community. To make a contribution to this unique program, please do so during the regular Summer at Stanley registration process, or contact summer@stanleybps.org or 303-360-0803.
