Stanley Traditions
At Stanley, our unique traditions form community.
For over 50 years our traditions have grown and adapted, but all are rooted in the true Stanley spirit of joy, respect, expression and community.
While students graduate and many more will follow in their paths, our traditional events begin with anticipation and end with lasting memories.

Multicultural Feast
With a vibrant program of performances and a delectable potluck of dishes prepared by our families, this annual event celebrates all that is wonderful about Stanley's multicultural community.

Halloween Parade
Our annual Halloween parade features students and staff working the red carpet to delight our community with creative costumes. Another highlight: our staff performing a surprise flashmob dance!

Thank You Cookies
To thank our staff for all they do for Stanley's children, our Parent Association lovingly provides an incredible array of baked goods and handwritten notes of gratitude just in time for the holidays.

Rose Ceremony
To symbolize the passage of time, our kindergartens each present an 8th grader with a yellow rose of friendship, to congratulate them for their many years at Stanley.

Continuation & Graduation Speeches
To celebrate Stanley's emphasis on finding and using our voices, our 2nd, 5th and 8th graders each share their memories, gratitude and hopes for the future in speeches at their ceremonies.

Winter Welcome Concert
To note the shortest days of the year, our students treat us to our Winter Welcome Concert. A highlight: our middle schoolers and K-1-2s joining together in a musical extravaganza!

Grand People Day
Our favorite Grand People gather to enjoy a heartfelt performance of singing, dancing, drumming and a beautiful expression of creativity from the students they love the most.

Field Day
With jumping, limbo, running, beanbag toss and tug of war, our TK - 5 students welcome spring and push their athletic boundaries with a fun array of outdoor activities, all ending with popsicles!

Arts Fest
Arts Fest gives every child the stage to shine. With five performance spaces throughout the school, all students are encouraged to create, take risks and express their joy. Watch our video!
