Thanks to all those who attended the Volunteer Appreciation and my State of the School event on Friday! It was wonderful to thank and celebrate a great year of community engagement led by Jill Slattery, PA President, and Laura Jochens, PA Vice-President.

It’s taken six months but we’re finally getting some precipitation in Denver! I always smile seeing kids enjoy the novelty of bringing in an umbrella and rain boots in Colorado. As we wrap up the final week of April, I thought I’d check in to share a quick Sumant Six for April to help share a small slice of the many wonderful experiences taking place around campus. 

On Friday, April 17, we shared difficult news with both the Stanley and Lowry Swim Club communities that, following the 2026 summer season, Stanley will be bringing its long-standing pool-use agreement with the Lowry Swim Club to a close.
