Where did March go? Amidst the continued summer conditions, I’ve so enjoyed seeing the vibrancy of classrooms and community in so many ways this month. 

This year, on Wednesday March 4th, the whole middle school took the day off from our typical academics to get out into the community and grow in our vision, which states, “We envision a community of joyful, lifelong learners prepared to make a positive difference in the world.” 

One of the sentences of our school’s Mission, Vision and Values Statement says: we promote flexibility. Faculty and staff recently gathered to discuss what this means in our classrooms and in our lives. Here is a brief synthesis of what we discussed . . .
