| Grand People Participation | ||
Grandparents, or Grand People, as they are fondly referred to at Stanley, are important members of our school community. Grandparent participation is encouraged and embraced, and Stanley welcomes grandparents regularly into the school experience.Each year, Stanley hosts Grand People Day as a way to offer grandparents the chance to spend the morning with their grandchildren on campus. During their visit, they participate in classroom activities, tour the school to see what’s new, and enjoy the students’ Thanksgiving musical presentation. We also host an evening get together as a chance for grandparents to meet one another and learn more about the school. Grandparents are encouraged to be a part of the Stanley community on a day-to-day basis. The school’s calendar is available online at www.stanleybps.org and can assist grandparents in planning how and when they want to participate. Grandparents can choose to participate in the following activities:
We appreciate the added value our grandparents contribute to life at Stanley. For more information on how you can become more involved, contact Jessica Knauf, Director of Annual Fund, at jessica@stanleybps.org or (303) 360-0803, ext. 172.
