With a strong tradition of parent involvement and an on-campus, state-certified Teacher Preparation program, BPS offers incoming families a unique school community dedicated to educational excellence.

BPS seeks a broad mix of students as part of its core philosophy and respects the many faces of giftedness. Our mixed age classrooms are lively and active communities of teachers, parents, and children. People of color make up approximately one quarter of our student body and our faculty. Strong community support allows us to provide tuition assistance to over 30% of our families.
